Why? Because they actually get deep into the rubber. Medium or longwave options just don&amp;rsquo;t have that same punch.&#xA;When you&amp;rsquo;re picking your gear, keep an eye on the voltage-to-wattage ratio. That&amp;rsquo;s what controls your heat density. If you use higher voltage tubes, you can go longer without the ends of the lamp getting cold.&#xA;But be careful. If you cram too many watts into a tiny space, you&amp;rsquo;ll fry your filaments. It&amp;rsquo;s a balancing act. You have to time the wattage with your conveyor speed so the core hits the right temperature without burning the skin.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
