Why Our IR Lamps Actually Fit Your PET Machine
If you run a PET factory, you know the headache. You buy a machine from one brand, and suddenly you’re trapped. You can’t just buy any heating tube; you’re stuck with their proprietary parts and their price tags. It’s frustrating. We decided to fix that. We built our infrared lamps to break that cycle. Instead of making “special” parts, we focused on the basics—standard footprints and exact electrical matches. The result? A lamp that just drops right in, regardless of who built your machine.
The “Secret” to the Fit
It really comes down to three things: size, voltage, and the plug. We obsess over the millimeters. Whether you’re using a 300mm or 500mm tube, the length is dead-on. There’s nothing worse than a lamp that rattles in the holder or refuses to seat properly. It just doesn’t happen here. As for the connectors, we stick to R7s and Sk15. They’re the industry standards for a reason. If your machine uses these, our lamps slide right in. No rewiring. No hacking together custom brackets. Just plug and play.
Getting the Heat Right
We use high-purity quartz glass and halogen gas. Why? Because it lets us push more power—usually between 2000W and 3000W—without the filament giving up on you. This creates shortwave radiation that hits the PET preform fast, which means your heating cycle finishes sooner. Plus, a lot of our tubes have a special coating. It bounces the heat back toward the preform, putting the energy exactly where it needs to be. One quick tip: high-wattage tubes gethot. Really hot. Make sure your oven’s cooling fans are actually doing their job. If they aren’t, that ambient heat will eat away at your reflectors over time.
Real Talk: Life on the Shop Floor
Think about the last time a lamp blew. Did you have to wait days for an OEM part to arrive? When you stock these in bulk, that downtime disappears. You can keep one set of universal lamps on the shelf to cover multiple different lines. You just swap them out during your regular maintenance. It cleans up your inventory and saves you a ton of money on brand-name markups, all while giving you the same thermal performance you’re used to.
