The Inside Scoop
Here’s the practical part: it runs on 400V. That’s standard for industrial setups, so you can wire it straight into your plant’s power without needing extra transformers. It packs 2500W of heat into a compact 300mm tube. That’s a lot of power in a small space, and that’s intentional. It’s meant to heat a specific zone quickly, not waste energy warming the entire air in the room. The magic is in the physics. Shortwave infrared cuts right through the air to warm objects and people directly.
What It’s Made Of
The heart of it is a halogen-filled quartz tube. This keeps the filament stable, even when things get scorching hot. That stability means a longer life for the lamp. We also coat the tube to manage the light spectrum. This filters the output, shifting it toward the safer end of the spectrum. The result? A warmer light that feels good on your skin, without the harsh glare that can strain your eyes. This is a big deal in places like bathrooms or areas where infants might be present. And for the connection, it uses an R7s connector. It’s a solid, double-ended connection that handles the high current and locks the tube in place. It stays put, even with all the vibration and movement on a factory floor.
Where It Shines
On the factory floor, this thing is a straight-up replacement for your old, worn-out units. It’s built to take a beating in those high-ceiling spaces, giving you spot heat for workstations or keeping critical areas from freezing up. The 2500W output means it gets hot fast. But there’s a trade-off. That intense heat means the equipment around it needs proper airflow. You just need to make sure your machine’s cooling system can handle the extra warmth.
