Inside, you’ll find a high-output halogen lamp, tucked inside a tough quartz tube. This setup can handle being turned on and off again and again, and it won’t buckle under the humidity. The heat it gives off is shortwave infrared, which slips through the air and warms you directly—your skin, your towel, even the tile underfoot. It’s a world away from those old convection heaters that just warm the air. And the electrical connection? It uses a standard R7s socket. So if you’re wiring it in, it’s a straightforward install.
