It’s less about “heating the room” and more about fighting a war against moisture. Here is the secret: these lamps use short-wave radiation. Instead of just warming up the air, the heat punches right through the surface of your walls and ceilings to evaporate standing water. It’s a huge difference. When the lamp hits a damp wall, the water vanishes fast. By keeping the surfaces warm, you stop condensation from ever settling in the first place.
